It is official:  Our mission to Ecuador is now under the name of Bridging Cultures!  We are recognized by the State of Texas as a Corporation and by the IRS as a non-profit organization.  We are the FIRST mission of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).  Disciples have traditionally partnered with other organizations across the globe to do our mission work.  But now, Bridging Cultures is a Disciple-based Mission.  This summer we are taking two trips to Ecuador with over 50 people from 12 different churches!  Other trips later in the summer, in the fall, and next spring break are being discussed.  It is exciting to see people from all over the country excited about putting an end to extreme poverty where unclean water and lack of sanitation are a leading cause of death.  Thank you for amazing support to this mission and for so many of you who have contributed through your funds, prayers, positive statements, labor, and materials.  God has called and guided us; you have responded and supported this effort.  Much more to do….but well on our way!!
