Many times in the last couple of years I have been asked what my relationship with Crossroads is at this time. It is certainly behind the scenes, but I have continued to work with individual kids, praying that they will become good citizens of society able to sustain themselves and their families and helping where I can. Yesterday I received a copy of a letter that was addressed to our own "Church Lady", Sheila Frosch. I just think it should be shared with all of you.
"Once upon a time I was a lost kid without any direction. Then I met this lady that all my peers called, "the church lady." This lady taught me that life was not about what hand you were dealt, but rather how you played that hand. Even though I stumbled a few times before I landed right side up, I managed to turn my pair of two's into a full house. I never got a chance to say thank you Sheila, so THANK YOU!
Because of you I have a great career, an amazing wife and two boys I could not image life without. I stayed out of jail and away from drugs all because of you. You taught me that it is important to be who you are and not who
Society thinks you should be. I love you Sheila and I am extremely grateful for what you did for me. My life is forever changed in a good way thanks to your big heart."
It did work! It did make a difference in the lives of many young people. So thank you all for supporting and giving to Crossroads. Don't stop praying!
