What Is Worship Service Like?

Regular worship elements have been modified to allow for safe practices during the Covid Pandemic. Masks will be required and distancing practiced. Prepackaged communion will be provided. Your health and safety is uppermost in our minds and every precaution will be taken.  Thank you for worshipping with us in a safe manner!

Q: What are the worship days and times?

A: There are two worship services each Sunday. At 8:30 am there is worship service using traditional hymns. At 11:00 am there is an informal worship service with praise band.

Q: What should I wear to worship service? Do I need to dress up?

A: Very casual dress to both worship services.  Some dress in business casual while others jeans & t-shirts.

Q: Will I be asked to give money?

A: You will have an opportunity to give an offering. During both worship services, an offering plate is available when communion is served at the front of the sanctuary. The monetary gifts taken to the Lord's Table and are blessed for use in the ministries of the church.

Q: How often is communion served?

A: Communion around the Lord's Table is central to worship and is taken during each worship service. In both worship services, communion is served at the front of the sanctuary and everyone is invited to come forward and partake.  All who believe in Jesus Christ are invited to share in the Lord's Supper.

Q: Is child care available during worship?

A: Yes. Child care is available for infants through 3 years of age in Nursery, temp location in Adult Ed Building.

Q: What kind of music do you sing?

A: We use the Disciples of Christ Chalice Hymnal, Chalice Praise, and praise music selected by our Worship & Music Team.

Q: How do I become a member?

A: All are members of the family of Jesus Christ.  If you choose to make CCC your church family you can just begin by attending regularly and becoming involved in any of the many ministries that are available.  Call the church office at 817-594-3053 for more information or to set up appointment with any of the ministers or ministry team leaders.
